  • How much does it cost to visit the Smash Room?
    Prices are $60 per person, which includes a crate of 20 smashables (such as mugs, plates, glasses and more). We also provide clean and sanitised safety clothing hire including overalls, a hard hat and face shield, earplugs, and gloves.
  • Who can attend the Smash Room?
    Anyone over the age of 14, who is not pregnant, or under the influence of prohibited drugs or alcohol. People attending, that are not entering the Smash Room can observe from the reception area either through the perspex windows or on the reception tv if the people smashing have approved their media release. Please note if you have an injury you may not be able to participate, please ring to discuss if you have any concerns.
  • How old do I have to be to attend the Smash Room?
    Anyone older than 14 years old can participate in a smash room session and a responsible adult must be present with you. If you are aged between 14 and 17, your parent or legal guardian must complete the sign-in waiver form and media release before you arrive or when you check in at the venue. Anyone under 13 years old can still enter the venue, but cannot enter the smash room. They may observe through the windows in the reception area or on the reception TV if the Media Release form allows. They may also play the games in the reception area.
  • Can more than one person smash at a time?
    Yes! Our orange room is for 1 - 2 people (great for friends, families and date nights) Our white room is for 1 - 5 people (great for friends, small work groups and families) Our yellow room is for 3 - 10 people (great for larger groups but available for smaller groups if the white room is booked out)
  • How long do I get in the Smash Room?
    Times vary depending on the number of people smashing. If you are late for your session this may affect the time you have to carry out the activity. 1 - 2 People 20 minutes 3 - 5 People 40 minutes 6 - 7 People 60 minutes (1hr) 8 - 10 People 90 minutes (1hr 30 minutes)
  • What do I get?
    Crate of 20 smashable items (may include, plates, bottles, glasses, cups, photos frames, electrical items and other random items depending on what is available at the time). If you are in a group of 3 or more you will receive an additional share item to smash, like a TV, microwave or printer etc. These larger items can also be purchased as an additional smash item at the time of booking.
  • I want to smash something big, can I?
    Yes you can! If you come with a group of 3 or more, you will receive a smaller shared item to smash between your group. The item becomes larger the more people you book in. Alternatively, you can purchase additional items starting from $10 for our small items all the way up to $60 for our extra large items. Every now and then we may have a special item available for a nominated price at the time, for example an oven.
  • What should I bring?
    Make sure you have covered shoes like sneakers or boots.
  • Do you have colour bombs?
    We sure do! Small jars of coloured powder are available for purchase at $3 each of 5 for $10
  • Is it air conditioned?
    Our rooms are air conditioned with split system air conditioners
  • Can I bring my own items?
    Yes you can! Please email us for approval first, as some items are not safe to smash. Let us know what you would like to bring and send us some photos. In general, TV's, bottles, plates, jars, mugs, keyboards, computers, microwaves, printers etc. are mostly safe to bring. Food, liquid items, bulky items, things with batteries are NOT safe to bring.
  • My gift card isn't working
    Please contact us at info@smashit.au or call on 0480 638 541 and we will assist with your booking
  • Can I change to use my gift card in the Splash Room?
    Yes you can! Please contact us at info@smashit.au or phone 0480 638 541 to make arrangements for your voucher to be changed to the Splash Room
  • Can I Smash extra stuff?
    As with smashing larger items, you can purchase additional crates for $20 each. Please note, the Smash It Darwin team will check if there is availability for additional time to be added on your session if you do request additional itesms. If you have used your allocated time and there is another booking in the room immediately after your session, you may not be able to purchase additional items.
  • How much does it cost to visit the Splash Room?
    Prices are $20 per person, which includes our basic pack of 4 Paint bombs (paint filled water balloons), 2 squirt bottles and 2 small spray bottles. Upgrades are available starting from $3 each for an additional item or purchase our 5 for $10 deals.
  • Who can attend the Splash Room?
    Anyone over the age of 5, who is not pregnant, or under the influence of prohibited drugs or alcohol. People attending, that are not entering the Splash Room can observe from the reception area on the reception tv if the participants in the splash room have approved their media release. Please note if you have an injury you may not be able to participate, please ring to discuss if you have any concerns.
  • How old do I have to be to attend the Splash Room?
    Anyone older than 5 years old can participate in a splash room session and a responsible adult must be present with you. If you are aged between 5 and 17, your parent or legal guardian must complete the sign-in waiver form and media release before you arrive or when you check in at the venue. Anyone under 5 years old can still enter the venue, but cannot enter the splash room. They may wait in the reception area with another responsible adult. If the Media Release form allows, Smash It Darwin may play the session on the reception TV. There are some games the reception area that can be used for no extra cost.
  • How many people can go in the Splash Room?
    The splash room will remain open to anyone booking until the maximum number of 10 people is reached. So you may share the room with strangers during your session. A private session can be arranged for a booking of 6 or more.
  • What do I get?
    You start of with a Basic pack: 4 x Paint Bombs (paint filled water balloons) 2 x Squirt Bottles 2 x small Spray Bottles You can buy more items before and during your booking
  • Are there other things in the Splash Room?
    There are other items in the Splash Room that you can interact with including: * Foam baseball bats * Foam balls * Drums * Plastic tennis rackets * Plastic cricket bats * Foam art tools You can also purchase additional Splash items like canvases (to do art work) and white shirts
  • What should I bring?
    The Splash Room is unpredictable, we recommend you wear clothes and shoes your not going to mind ruining. As much as we use water based paints we can't guarantee it won't stain. We also recommend the following: * Change of clothes and shoes (we have one shower available if needed and a sink you can wash in). * Towel * Plastic bag for wet stuff
  • How long do I get in the Splash Room?
    A Splash Room session lasts 30 minutes from the time the activity is due to start. If you arrive late your session length may be affected.
  • Is it air conditioned?
    Yes, there is a split system air conditioner in the room
